“Shared Work – Shared Vision” – Our Collaborative Approach to Supporting Ophthalmology Clinical Trials

Somewhere in the world, someone goes blind every five seconds. A child goes blind every minute. Of the 119 million people in the United States who are age 40 or over, 3.4 million are visually impaired or blind. A leading cause of blindness in the U.S. is glaucoma but half of the nearly 3 million people afflicted with the disease do not realize it because there are often no warning symptoms. The facts about blindness and eye health make it clear the need for new ophthalmic treatments is acute.

At SynteractHCR, we have been at the forefront of ophthalmology clinical development. We have developed a specialized clinical operations and therapeutic focus on ophthalmology studies with experienced project teams dedicated to all ophthalmic programs. Our experienced staff has conducted 140 studies on more than 23,700 patients in a wide variety of indications.
